It feels good to sit and sip a freshly brewed cup of organic tea. I can't help but think of the school bus story... where the tea company got down to the grass roots challenges in a community that couldn't get the kids to school, and bought a bus to get the kids to school. In my mind it's a yellow school bus, making a few stops around the village, carefully navigating the dirt roads to the school full of happy kids that are getting an education. As I reflect on what difference ethically run companies have made it deepens the meaning of why we do what we do. For just a few minutes while I enjoy the tea it seems like at times the simplicity of life in this village could be better than the complexity of our urban life.
