6 Festive Coffee Recipes to Add Cheer to This Time of Year!
It's getting to be that time of year again and there is nothing that compliments the holidays better than a good festive coffee beverage. See our 6 favourite simple recipes you can make at home.
Spiced Gingerbread Latte:
Ingredients:
- 15 ml Monin Gingerbread Syrup
- 5 ml Monin Spiced Brown Sugar Syrup
- 1 shot(s) Cafe Italiano espresso
- Fill with Steamed Milk
Garnish:
- Whipped Cream
- Brown Sugar
- Cinnamon Powder
Instructions:
1. Combine Ingredients, except milk into a serving cup and set aside.
2. In a milk frother steam the milk.
3. Add the frothed milk to the rest of the ingredients and gently stir.
4. Garnish and enjoy!
Winter Citrus Iced Coffee
Ingredients:
- 8 oz Cold Brew Coffee
- 1-2 Tbsp Monin Winter Citrus Syrup
- 1-2 Tbsp Half & Half cream
Instructions:
1. Pour the cold brew coffee over ice cubes.
2. Stir the Winter Citrus Syrup to desired sweetness.
3. Top with your half & half cream.

Cold Fashioned Peppermint Brew
Ingredients:
- 30 ml Bourbon
- 30 ml Irish Cream Liqueur
- 15 ml Monin Peppermint Syrup
- 60 ml Cold Brew Coffee
- 10-15 Ice Cubes
Garnish:
- Crushed or Whole Candy Canes
Instructions:
1. Combine Ingredients in a shaker in the order listed.
2. Add a few ice cubes
3. Cap and shake vigorously
4. Strain into serving glass and add the remaining ice.
5. Garnish with the candy cane.
Toasted Marshmallow Mocha
Ingredients:
- 15 ml Monin Toasted Marshmallow Syrup
- 15 ml Monin Dark Chocolate Sauce
- 2 shot(s) Cafe Italiano espresso
- Fill with steamed 2% milk
Garnish:
- Crushed Cookies
- Mini Marshmallows
- Monin Dark Chocolate Sauce
- Whipped Cream
Instructions:
- Combine ingredients, except milk, in a serving cup.
- Stir and set aside.
- Steam milk in milk frother.
- Pour steamed milk into the serving cup, stirring gently.
- Garnish.
Skinny Peppermint Bark Latte
Ingredients:
- 30 ml Monin Natural Zero Peppermint
- 2 shot(s) Cafe Italiano espresso
- Steamed Low Fat Milk
Garnish:
- Whipping Cream
- Crushed Peppermint
Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients except milk, in a serving cup.
2. Stir and set aside.
3. Steam milk in a pitcher. See our steamed milk products here.
4. Pour steamed milk into serving cup, stirring gently.
5. Garnish with whipping cream and peppermint.
Frosty's Eggnog Latte
Ingredients:
- 4 oz. Cafe Italiano Espresso
- 1/4 cup Frothed Milk
- 1/2 cup Eggnog
- 1/2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 1/8 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
Garnish:
- Whipping Cream
- Pinch of nutmeg
Instructions:
- Combine eggnog, vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in a mug.
- In a milk frother steam the milk.
- Add the milk to the eggnog mixture. If the mixture is not hot pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds.
- When the mixture is hot slowly stir in the espresso.
- Garnish with whipped cream and nutmeg.
